Schematics editor won't open in macOS

Hi,

I am using EAGLE 9.6.2 on macOS 11.2 and suddenly the software will not open any *.sch files nor I am able to make a new schematic file by pressing "File New->Schematic".It does absolutely nothing.  *.brd files work just fine.

Btw. the same project open on a windows machine work as expected.

Any idea how I can fix this ?

Sorry guys,
after rebooting the machine it works again. Strange anyway.
Case closed.
