Safe to delete old versions?

I've discovered over a half dozen older versions of Eagle before the current version. It may seem like a dumb question but things lately all seem to have unintended consequences. 🙂 Every new version I've installed I've followed the instructions and retained all my projects and libraries. So is it safe to delete the old versions?

As long as everything has been migrated so that nothing refers to the old versions, it's safe to remove them. However, beware of assumptions. The .sch and .brd files should be OK but the eagle.epf (project definition) files contain absolute paths to the libraries in use, which may be nestled in an old version hierarchy.

I think I'll play it safe for now and keep the old versions. Let sleeping dogs lay. 🙂
