I built a prototype using the ESP32. The project is currently operating successfully, and I want to design its PCB. Therefore, I was interested in the following information from professionals who had experience with the ESP32 PCB design:
Can I remove ESP32 unnecessary functionalities that I don't need for my project? For instance, it includes a number of capacitive touch sensors, and I just want to keep one while removing the others. So, can I construct a unique PCB for the ESP32?
Additionally, because my project is a blind stick and I have limited area for my design, I'm considering using a flexible PCB. Should I purchase flexible PCB or should I continue with rigid? Because flex PCBs are more expensive than rigid ones, as I've read online?
It would be nice if someone could provide me some information regarding online PCB businesses that they have experience with.
