No new verion of EAGLE?

I haven't used Eagle for some time and today decided to edit some old projects I did some time ago. So I decided to get the newest version, but it appears there is none! I wonder what happened to EAGLE and why is not being developed anymore? The last version 9.6.2 is from 2 years ago.

Look for the "Eagle is dead" thread.

Autodesk have decided to concentrate (entirely and only) on the integration with Fusion. Fusion is, of course, a 3D mechanical design tool, but then we all know that (some hardware engineers think) electronics is just a little tweak that people insist on pushing into the beautifully designed case that would be a great product even without it.

For a less cynical answer, wait for one of the AD employees 😁

Thank you for the answer. After reading a bit about EAGLE integration in Fusion360 I was very afraid that the answer might be that Autodesk combined the two CADs into one, something you explained now, but I just didn't want to accept it. I love EAGLE for the full customization of shortcut keys, GUI colors, easy to write ULPs, and the positive user experience and smooth workflow in general. So I guess I am on my way to try something else, such as KICAD or DIPTRACE.

RIP EAGLE! You were one of my beloved CADs...

I hope you're doing well. EAGLE is still available and can continue to be used. @one-of-the-robs is accurate in that all of our current effort is going into the Fusion 360 Electronics integration.
