Hi all! I'm looking for a way to hide the left side control panel in both schematic editor and layout editor:
It takes up a huge amount of space when I resize EAGLE to fit half of my screen. I can't seemed to find anywhere to turn it off. The 'User Interface' menu doesn't have an option to turn it off as well.

You can turn them off in the View menu. There are options to toggle each of the panes down at the bottom:
Or you can set keyboard shortcuts to toggle them all off/on:
Here you can see I have them set to F7 through F10. You could combine them to toggle them all at once with a single key if you liked instead.
Note that there is currently a bug that means the panel takes more width than it should and cannot be sized down to a minimum which is likely exacerbating your issue. Hopefully when they get that fixed you'll have less need to turn it off.
