Hi, My Eagle 9.2.2 standard edition crashes when group moving the entire pcb or large parts of it, see included video.

[UPDATE] the group-move command DOES in fact work, it just takes 20 mins to do "something".
That needs looking at. It's a matter of seconds up until a certain number of things being group-moved and then it takes a very long time.
This problem still persists in 9.3.0. I have a set of components ~100 different pads that I'm trying to shift by a round even number and the program still crashes. I have tried with and without recognizing the board outline and have also made sure that the items I'm trying to move remain within the board outline. Finally, this problem appears to occur for both the command line and the manual move group.
Confirmed this is still an issue and is crippling my productivity, I am going to unsolve this post to raise it again.
Jorge, this issue has not been fixed in 9.3.0 and it is now causing sever productivity issues for my work flow, I cannot afford to wait more than 20 minuets to move 100+ components, this needs to be raised as a critical issue. The only alternative is to recommend to my clients that they phase out Eagle from the R&D department.
I am very disappointed, when Eagle was acquired by AutoDeskI had high hopes that the capture and layout system I had used as a student and hobbyist would reach a commercially viable level, and it certainly looked as if it was with the solid stream of enhancements you have been providing. However, brick wall issues like the inability to group move components is a fundamental one and 9.3.0 should not have been released with it remaining.
Please make this issue a matter of urgency as it will effect the entire user base.
Did you try turning off 'Preserve Angles'? I've found the angle solver gets sluggish when moving large numbers of routes at the same time.
Wanted to give a thank you to Jorge for looking into this for me, there is something in one of my designs that is causing the large slow down and he has sent that off to be checked, in the interim I can confirm aholtzma your suggestion which Jorge also suggested works, that is,
if you if you turn off the Preserve Angles option when group moving (i.e select the Free angle icon above the command line bar) then the 10 or so min initial delay disappears
Although this does need to be corrected and the cause identified, it does give the ability to maintain a quick and efficient workflow for entire/large group board moves for files containing this anomaly.
Again, thank you to the group members and the AutoDesk Eagle staffers for working quickly to find a solution.
FWIW ... hit the same issue in Fusion in 2024.
Fusion stopped responding after I ctrl-right click to move the group with "preserve angles" on. Group had about 600 elements (wires, vias, components, etc). On one of my many tries to figure it out, it managed to crash my music and mess with the window manager. At any rate, the same thing applies ... works ok if in free angle or disconnect move mode.
