hello,
I am a new PCB designer and am really interested in your help on how to gain knowledge in this area. I have started by the design of a four layer PCB board using the EAGLE software where some of the traces that i will create will carry out the rf signals. I want to make the rf signal carrying traces to be solder mask free and be covered with the gold finishing as well as the pads where the SMA connector is going to be attached through soldering.
how do i show this specifications to the manufacturer?

Hi @simonmunyua6 ,
Welcome to the forums. You can make the traces solder mask free by tracing over the route using the tStop layer. Anything the tStop layer covers is exposed copper. Now for the gold finishing, talk to your manufacturer and ask them how they want that feature called out, usually you'll just indicate that on a separate layer that you output to it's own gerber file. Talk to the manufacturer, they'll tell you exactly how they want that specified.
Best Regards,
Thanks Garcia. Let me work on this information you have shared then I will get back to you with more and more questions or even appreciations.
