Eagle Route Airwire not removing airwire Error

Hello all,

I am very new to eagle and am trying to wire my components together using Route Airwire. The autorouter works fine, but when I try to manually draw any wires with Route Airwire, the 'error' page shows that I still have an airwire error, even when it appears that I have connected my wires. I looked on the forums but was unable to find anything on this, probably because I'm doing something so dumb that nobody else has bothered asking it. I made a new file with two random resistors just to see if I had somehow corrupted the program, but the issue still persists, even when I only have 2 components and a (completely useless) set of wires connecting them. I have attached a screenshot of my attempt to see why I can't attach wires to components below. Could anyone advise me as to what I'm doing wrong?

Hi @anadirCCTGK,

I hope you're doing well. Your not doing anything wrong, make sure that when you run the ERC you always run it by clicking on the ERC icon. DO NOT USE THE YELLOW TRIANGLE icon, that one always shows the results from the last run which can be confusing if you don't know that's happening.

The live counter in the ERC also has an issue which may be at play here, in certain circumstances it will lose count. If that happens, close it and just run the ERC fresh.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
