Is your problem solved? Or persists?

I am also still experiencing this issue.  Can get it started in offline mode, but that's not good enough for what I need to get done.

I have the same problem here in Norway. I have been using Eagle for more that 25 years and have unfortunately had to subscribe to Autodesk to have the latest features. They merged to Fusion 360 which is completely useless for electronic designers. This costs a lot more than my single pro license I have had for 15 years. And they have created this crap cloud I hate everyday. I have to confirm with SMS each time I changing from laptop or desktop. All of this is non sense.

And finally today I get this error and I cannot log in: "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable". Although Eagle is the best CAO software, Autodesk have found the solution to have fewer and unhappy customers.

I am experiencing similar problems. Been using Eagle for about 3 years and since the merge with fusion 360 I feel completely confused and like the software is a mess.
I was supposed to work all this weekend on my project but I cannot use library.io.

I cannot download my library from library io. it say there is a server error.
I cannot upload a new version to Library. io it says there are server side errors.

I pay a lot for this software a year and I cannot use it. Not happy. I am also going to switch to Kikad after this project.

Solved for now, but going to migrate to other alternatives. Online software sucks...

About Kikad, thought about that a long time ago. How easy is it to switch to that software ? Does it offer the same level of functions ?

Hi Everyone,

Can you confirm if this is still happening? There was some maintenance done to the servers over the weekend and it created issues. From what I've been told they should be resolved, let me know if this is not the case.

Hi, @jorge_garcia.

I hope you're doing well.
Now the account has earned. But the sediment remained.
You created a monster, but it can't fly like EAGLE. Alas! Born to crawl cannot fly.

Best Regards.

It is working. However, consider the following things in a near future:

- Single lifetime license (as before with 6.5 when it was Farnell or CADSOFT), I'm ready to pay more than 2000$ for that and pay extra for future upgrades

- Separate license from Fusion 360. Even if we use Fusion 360 for our 3D printer, this is non sense to include it in the same license than CAD software. Getting the 3D view from PCB is a toy for beginners or marketing people, not for electronic engineer. Except a few projects that include rounded enclosure, a PCB is generally flat.

- Remove this nasty check with SMS. This is really annoying when changing computer.

Regards,

Luc

PS: Jorge, I've seen your name for decades in Element14 or maybe CadSoft, you certainely understand what I mean !

Hi @lucC6EXD,

I definitely understand what you mean, I was part of the Cadsoft team that was acquired by autodesk in 2016. Points 1 and 2 are duly noted and we thank you for your feedback.

I can help you with the 3rd point since that is not a requirement of EAGLE or Fusion. It's actually a security setting. You can change it by going to manage.autodesk.com, click on your picture on the top right and in the options that show up select Password and Security.  There you'll find a setting to disable the two factor authentication.

I can at least take care of one annoyance for you.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi @jorge_garcia ,
I know you are not personally responsible so this is not directed at you.
But I have to say this this has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a software that I use. I have spent since last Friday 22nd trying to figure out why my library was not uploading properly. I have probably wasted around 28 hours of work time.

My questions to pass on to whoever was in charge of this server update are,
1. Why did you not send out an email to all eagle/fusion360 users saying that you were doing server maintenance and that there would be outages to products?

2. Why did you not update your error reporting during the period of update to include ANY USEFUL INFORMATION as to what might be the cause of the errors. I can't stress this enough. There was no way for me to self diagnose the issue. I was getting extremely vague errors like.. "There has been a problem uploading you're library. Contact customer support." Which incidentally I did and I still have not received a response though the official customer support channels.

3. In the migration from Eagle to the cloud based fusion 360 you have not provided clear enough messaging on what workflows are not supported any longer. For example the reason why I spent almost 4 days trying to figure why my library was not uploading was because you apparently no longer support offline editing of librarys. And the official forums say that if you HAVE done offline edits and then try uploading to Library.io it may create the error I was seeing.
This is bad software design. The fact that I CAN carry on my normal workflow, without knowing that it is not supported and I could at any moment corrupt my library, is in my opinion, not acceptable. Either continue to support these kind of workflows or shut them down entirely. At least people know then what is going on.

To end, fusion360 is the most expensive software I subscribe to and it has caused me the most trouble. After this project is finished I will almost certainly be switching to kicked even though in theory you guys offer I better all in one solution. In reality it is like riding a bucking bull. And those things always buck you off.
Josh.

I have attached screenshots to show you the error messages you were giving your customers for almost 4 days.
