Drill data as NC not Excellon in 9.4

In the middle of getting a PCB made, but the manufactures has asked if can supply the drill data in NC due to having issues opening the files etc.

Is it possible to export NC Drill data from the CAM Processor or is it solely Excellon Drill?

Hello @phil.bradwell,

I hope you're doing well. Excellon drill files are NC drill files so something else is going on here. Did you compress the drill file before sending it to them? If you did and the manufacturer doesn't realize this then that might explain why they are getting garbage data.

The other possibility that springs to mind is that the format of the EAGLE produced drill files isn't what they are expecting. EAGLE's drill files in the latest versions use 3.3 Absolute millimeters format, if you tell them that they may be able to parse the file.

Let me know if you continue to run into problems.

Hello @jorge.garcia

After looking into it, there was some import issues using GC-cam and with the header details.  I removed the header parts and sent it back to the manufacture.  They seem to be able to manage with those files.  I will let you know if get any more issues.

Thanks for your help as well
