compatibility Eagle version 8.0 vs. 6.6.0

Hello,
I have a student version 8.0 of Eagle, but our university has on school PC version 6.6.0 Eagle and required submission of semester projects in this version (6.6.0), for alleged incompatibility with higher versions Eagle.
I have three questions about this:
2. Is possible a project from version 8.0 to store so that it can be opened without errors in version 6.6.0

1. Can I get a student version 6.6.0 instead of 8.0 Eagle
2. Can the project from version 8.0 to save so that it can be opened without errors in version 6.6.0
3. Is there any solution for the conversion project from version 8.0 to version 6.6.0

Hi Jindrich,

I hope you are doing well. EAGLE V8 can not produce a file that is guaranteed to work with V6. However, as long as you don't use hierarchy in your V8 design then V6 should be able to open it. You'll have to try it out but that is the best option right now.

There are ULPs to export the board and the schematic as scripts which could then be run in older versions however I would be hesistant to recommend that before trying what I mentioned in the first paragraph.

Best Regards,
