brd from sch

Hello,

Sorry for the beginner question, but is there a way to generate a .brd from a .sch?

I know that board layout is different from schematics, but I got some schematics generated automatically, and I don't know if to design my board I will have to redo everything from scratch (including footprints...).

Got my schematics (attached) from thingtype.com - huge time saver, but in the free plan they only give away the schematics, unless you order prototypes...

Any clue?

Thanks.

there is a button in the toolbar with BRD labeled on it, click it and you will get a new board design. You will need to move the componennts into place and then route the signals.

Thanks edpataky, that's exactly what I hoped for!

Still have to place and route (or most likely find somebody to do it), but at least all the schematics/consistency check/footprint/pricing is already done...
