1-Layer MCPCB CAM Export Drill Data Missing

Hi all,

I have a problem with eagle cam export.

I have a MCPCB setup in eagle with 1 Layer.

I use THT pads for mounting the pcb with contact to copper. I don't need a pad on the bottom layer, but on the top layer to get contact from aluminium heatdsink to copper layer.

But these mounting holes are not visible in the preview. And cam export does not give a drill file.

What can I do?

thanks in advance

Christoph

Hello @c.seiwart,

I hope you're having a great day. What CAM job are you using? Looking at the image you've shown it looks as expected from EAGLE's perspective. If you ever run into a discrepancy between EAGLE and the manufacturing preview, trust EAGLE. The manufacturing preview doesn't currently reflect everything that EAGLE can do although it covers 90% of cases.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi Jorge,

thanks for the reply. The manufacturing preview is not the problem. But in the CAM export the drill data is empty. So I think the board manufacturer cannot see, that I want 4 mounting holes in the MCPCB. What can I do?

best regards,
