Moving a Managed library to a new computer

Hello Autodesk Community,

I recently got a new computer, downloaded eagle and am trying to get my managed library to be available on this new device. I copied the .lbr file from my desktop on my old computer to my new one using a flash drive. I then moved that into another folder under documents>Eagle>Libraries so that I could access it via the library manager. After opening the manager I went to the available tab found the .lbr file and "used" it and could see it in the "in use" tab. However, when in the splash screen I double click on the library under my name and none of my previous components show up. 

Also, in the Library.io online detail my library shows up but continuously loads without ever finishing. I am guessing I did something wrong when setting up my original copy of my library as from what most of the videos and posts I have read say, I should be able to do this by simply downloading it from the library.io and then using it. Thanks for any help!

thank you for your post. This is an interesting question for all of us and I hope I can help you.

Basically all managed libraries are stored in library.io. And there propably is a copy of the library on your computer, so that you can work offline as well. 

Managed libraries are stored online in library.io exactly because of the reason that we can easily share and access them. It is not neccessary to copy files from one computer to another. 

So, on a new computer you simply install and start EAGLE and log into your account. This gives you access to library.io as well. Now start the Library Manager and look into the Available tab. There you will see all your Managed libraries and you can use them.

I'ld recommend to delete the local copy of your library again and then select the libraries you would like to use in the Library Manager.

Thank you for the response Richard. I guess after reading that, the issue that I am really having is finding the components within my managed library in the library.io page. I can see my library (named: Custom Eagle Files) on the main page but when I click on it to open the contents, I get the three blue loading dots and the individual smd components with their respective pads, schematics, and 3d models never show up.  Its almost as if when I created the library, it recognized the folder but I never "pointed" to the components and pads that were created within that library. 

Sorry if this is confusing as I am pretty new to eagle but have a lot of experience with fusion. Transferring to this online based file storage will be great once I get it to work. Let me know if you want screen grabs or more information. Much appreciated.
