Global non-using libraries

Is there a way to prevent the standard built in libraries loading in Eagle? I set them all to not use but it was only persistent for the current project. When I started a new project they all appear again. It is really annoying for me because I am using only my own created libraries.

Yes, this is quite easy to achieve now. You need to go to the Library Manager and in the 'In Use' tab you can choose to "Delete bundled libraries' and then they will be purged, and will not be reloaded even if you re-install EAGLE. If you ever do need access to them you can re-install them from the 'Available' tab.
