Hi, I can't seem to get obstacle avoidance to work. It works on some traces, and not on others! What the heck?

Take a look at the screenshots:

One there is a regular crosshair and the other the mouse cursor changes to a red circle with a slash through it... Why??

 Hi charles_hood,

I don't see the screenshot, but let me give some basic hints. Maybe it helps.

If a red circle appear it means that the Obstacle Avoidance mode has been stopped.

 - Maybe you started routing in an area that already violate the Design Rules? Please check with DRC.

 - Do you use arcs for your traces? The current EAGLE version can't handle curved wires (arcs) in obstacle Avoidance mode.

Has the obstacle avoidance problem been resolved in EAGLE 8.3.1 or is there any plan to work on it soon ? When the radius of the trace (45 deg, specifically) is changed to non-zero, obstacle avoidance failed to work for me.
