8.3.0 Manufacturing Button

Trying to find out what this button does. Each time I click it, nothing seems to happen. What's the purpose of this button and how can it be used?

Thanks for your continued participation. That shouldn't be there, it's actually something we are working on that shouldn't be in V8.3.0. Could you post a screenshot of your Options > User interface dialog? Do you see the option "Manufacturing" under extensions there?

I can't give many details on what it supposed to do yet, but the goal is that it will simplify generating manufacturing data and provide a couple of additional interfaces.

Did you do anything special to get that?

Hi Jorge,

No, the only thing I see under Extensions is Fusion Sync.

The only thing I did differently is I double clicked a .brd file that a customer sent me, as opposed to opening it from within the EAGLE user interface.

Hi Jorge,

I've seen this too. It just sporadically appears and then goes away again. It can appear without doing anything, you can be looking at a layout and all of a sudden that button pops up, then a short while later it'll go away again.

The developers have figured it out. That was a mistake on their end and it won't show up yet until it's ready.
