X,Y AttDef - Not working

Hoping someone can help.

See attached my dynamic block. I have built into it two AttDef's, these pick up the position of a 'point' in the centre of my block. One for the 'X' and one for the 'Y' coordinate. (see screenshot).

This works fine usually and updates when I move the block and regenerate my drawing. However if I move the UCS 0,0,0 to a new point, the coordinates in my block do not update relative to the new UCS 0,0,0 location and still relate to the original world UCS.

Can someone please help explain why this is and how I can fix it?

Block is also attached.

Reading up in the link below specifically the section titled Understand the World Coordinate System (WCS) it would appear that it cannot be done as all objects are defined by the WCS which is a permanent fixed point.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. That is a shame but now I know that is the case I won't exhaust any more energy on a solution that doesn't exist.
