ok so i have made an end view

and a front view

the end view rotates

id like to make a block where i combine the two so that i can switch between end and side view.

however i find i lose the rotation or movement when i put a rotating block inside another block.

for example please find attached end view and side view.

once combined i lose the movement or rotation i once had

Of course you lose the grips to nested blocks.  They are only accessible within block editor.  If you want them accessible in model space that place the parameters in the host block, not the nested block.  Better yet, don't even use nested blocks just use the appropriate linework in the individual visibility states and use the appropriate rotation parameter(s) to rotate them.

Here's a screencast.  Actions and parameters must go in the host drawing, not nested ones.
