stretching line while rotating another

I just learned about dynamic blocks and have been watching videos but I think I am using these parameters and constraints incorrectly.I have a solar panels on a flat roof with two vertical legs. I want to be able to rotate the roof along the point where the short leg intersects the roof while elongating the the longer leg while keeping it touching the roof all while keeping the distance between the legs fixed and vertical. I have tried every combination of paremeters and constraints based on youtube videos I have watch to no luck. Is this even possible?

Autodesk Screencast is a free addon.  You can find it here:  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast

I looked at your block.  The lookup table is a fine touch but I would keep the two flip grips visible for folks who might want to select that way.

Generally speaking most Dynamic Blocks can be created more easily without any constraints.  Dynamic parameters/actions behave more consistently and require less computing power.  Unnecessary use of constraints is one of the most common causes of issues on this forum.  Dynamic parameters/actions and constraints do not play well together and mixing them often results in problems.  All of that said, there are some situations where constraints can do things that simply cannot be done with dynamic parameters/actions and as such are very useful.  My recommendation is to use constraints as a last resort when the desired behavior cannot be achieved without them.

Good morning, Libbya, and thank you.

I saved the shortcut for Screencast, because I need clearance to add a program. As for the flip toggles, I added them back in per your suggestion. I saw that with the toggles, the lookup table entries changed automatically to match the proper switch type.

Please have a good day.
