Stretch with scale problem

Hi, I have a block which is posted as an attachment. There are 2 versions. The blue one (on the left) works fine, but I would like the stretch to be from the Midpoint. The red one (on the right) works fine if you stretch left/right first, then down. However, it messes up when you stretch down first, then left/right. I've tried several different things, including setting the scale basepoint to Dependent/Independent to no avail. (The scale is for the round break symbol). Seems like this should be simple but it's driving me crazy.

Thank you in advance.

Add the independed scale action to the selection set of the stretch action.

Thank you Libbya. Dumb error by me

Any reason the hatch doesn't follow the associated polyline? (lower right corner) Is this just a bug I need to live with? I need to elimate the flip too, the hatch looses it's assosativity once it's flipped.

Thanks again Libbya

Your hatch boundary is a closed polyline which is usually a good thing but the arcs do play well with being stretched.  That's what is limiting your hatch.  I removed the closed polyline and used the separate linework as the boundary and the hatch maintains the correct border.  I also eliminated the stretch action that stretches the vertical linear parameter and flip 0.5.  It's not needed with the parameter base set to mid.  It was also what was skewing the flip line and making the hatch lose its associative property when flipped.  The attached block keeps the correct hatch boundary and maintains the association through the flip.
