I consider folowing problem: is it possible to create dynamic block with strech action include wipeout object (frames are turned off). Any ideas?
Thanks, Chris
Have you tried including it in the Selection Set while the Frames are On just as any entity and then turning them Off?
An Array will work in this manner.

FIrst question. Why I have tis messsage and what does mean?
This block doesn't work on my PC. If I try strech only rectangle is streched but grip stay at same place.
There is a non block set of entities that are the same as the block TEST that is in the drawing.
Select No.
AutoCAD is letting you know that those entities contain Dynamic Properties.
Basically this is what I saved as TEST in the Drawing file.
I opened the file I uploaded in the Thread and it worked fine here.
Hopefully someone else will try it out and see if it works for them.

That is what happen when I streach this block. Only rectangle is streached and grip stayed at same place. I use AutoCAD Mechanical 2012.

What is your BACTIONBARMODE set to?
Try Zero if it is One.

Okay - So it is doable.
We just need to find out and understand why your Mechanical does not like to do so.
There must be a Varable that needs to be switched but i have no idea what one.
Wait patiently for another responder?

Resurrection time...
I am having a similar issue. I have an attributed block with a wipe out that we use to place text on images and we can stretch a portion of it to point to things.
It works in Civil 3D, but not plain AutoCAD or Mechanical.
I tried using the TEST.dwg from this post and I get similar results. It works fine in Civil 3D, but not in AutoCAD. In AutoCAD the rectangle will stretch, but the wipeout won't.
Even in the same drawing.... using Civil 3D it works, in AutoCAD it doesn't.
I'm using 2013 versions of the products.
Lyle.
--edit--
Even more baffeling, it works in LT!
Well because LT is AWESOME!
Goes back to a Variable of some sort is still my guess; though what, I have no clue.
Mechanical and Full AutoCAD are the two culprits here. Or did I miss a third?

Using the Express Tools System Variable Editor, I saved all variables (I really question if it is really ALL variables) from both ACAD and Civil 3D. I placed them in columns in Excel and did an IF = formula to find cells that did not match.
I could not find any that impacted the behaviour of stretching dynamic blocks.
Upon further inspection, I can't even stretch a wipeout in AutoCAD.... block or no block.
Upon further further inspection, I get grips on the wipeout in Civil 3D, but no grips on the wipeout in ACAD.
OPTIONS, under the Selection Tab, are the Grip options the same for both seats?
Though I am completely assuming Civil has this window or is the same.

Here's a reply to Hardin, since I had a similar issue with dynamic blocks (with wipeouts) that worked perfectly in AutoCAD 2011 but not in 2013. Both are part of mechanical, but 2013 was part of a suite that also loaded Sketchbook Designer for AutoCAD. There's also a separate sketchbook Designer loade, but the one called ...for AutoCAD is added to the menu. For some reason this messes with wipeout grips, making them unselectable or something, and has been a known issue even in release 2012. The solution is to remove sketchbook Designer for AutoCAD (but keep the separate Sketchbook Designer). We had this issue with 3 installations at work and have resolved all of them this way 🙂
