stretch parameter not staying in place on dynamic block

Any ideas would be fabulous please. dwg is attached. I have created a dynamic block, which is constrained and parametrically modelled, so for example if I change the OD the entire block will rebuild correctly, exactly what i want, but I have put on a parameter stretch with the action stretch on the tail on the right of the block, the issue is that when i change OD and the block rebuilds that stretch parameter is no longer in the correct place on the left hand side. I am aware that the point i have associated the parametric dimension with will change according to whatever size i use for OD, so please how do i make that parameter  for stretch remain on that left point when it rebuilds?

I have attached the dwg file, as I have not yet completed the block properties table you will need to change the OD size  by clicking into the block and adjusting the OD dimension, a typical size we would use would be 110 or 250.

Many thanks for help.

Don't use a dynamic parameter and stretch action.  Instead use a geometric constraint with a grip.

Do you really want to change all dimensions (except the length) only inside of the block editor?

Or do you want to set some of the dimensions at the inserted blockreferences too?

If so (this makes more sense for me): in >>this video<< I show what you can do to set the OD (as an example) outside of the block editor. And of course also how to set any lenght of the model. (I did not yet rename the d7 parameter).
