Sheet Set Fields are not updating when i use my sheet set template

I have built a template with fields in block attributes for titleblock notes (drawing number, project number, rev, etc.), where the fields used are versions of "currentsheetset___" and "CurrentSheet___". These fields reference the properties of a sheet set template I have made. I followed the steps from "Sheets Happen".

When I go to use the sheet set template with the titleblock template mapped and I add a new sheet, the sheet set values of the titleblock do not update to the current sheet set information.

I must double click to open the Enhanced Attribut Editor and right click on each individual attribute value and select "Update Field", the attribute will then be correct. All attributes are acting like this, the value shown is incorrect, but the value it is attached to is correct, so I know that my field assignments seem to be correct which makes me think it is an updating issue. In BATTMAN all of the values for the attributes are correct, but "Sync" does not update the attributes on the page. "Update Fields" button does not work either. All boxes are checked for field update settings in File->Options->User Preferences.

While creating my titleblock template I made sure to input the fields into "default" not "value" and checked the "preset" mode box.

FIELDEVAL: 31

Photo 1: All values as "####" are the top 5 entries in BATTMAN

Photo 2: After double clicking to edit the block attributes, right clicking on the value and selecting "Update Field". All fields are correct once I do this to each individual attribute, but isn't the whole point of making dynamic blocks is to not need to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am quite stuck and don't know where to go from here. I have tried fields in DTEXT, MTEXT, inside and out of blocks and have been returning the same output every time. I must be doing something wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to help.

Isn't the whole point of making dynamic blocks is to not need to do this? That's correct. What I do is type in a value, hit enter, type in a value, hit enter, etc. You can just keep going down the line filling values with the enter key on your keyboard.

I am experiencing the same results. Apparently there IS something we are both missing in the process.

I sure wish I could find someone or a post that specifically explains a step by step process to building the WORKING FIELDS in a sheet set template. I read you need to have the file you're building with the fielded attributes as a sheet in the set. Then after finishing the template you must remove it from the set. Is this true?

Thank you to anyone who can & will take the time to fully explain the specific process need to make Sheet Sets work automated as designed.

I would think an Autodesk Employee would do this for the rest of the world.

But maybe there isn't an Autodesk Employee who does fully understand enough to Specifically Explain the process??

Thank you in advance.
