Saving an existing Dynamic Block out of a drawing

I have a dynamic door block that was created to allow several actions to occur.   Unfortunately, the WBlocked file was deleted before it ever got backed up.   I still have the block in a floor plan I just don't know how to export/rip it back into it's own file without blowing all the parameter/actions that took me forever to set up and get working right.   How can I get this back without having to recreate it from scratch?   I have attached a drawing where I stripped all but a portion of the base file.

What about using commands _resetblock and _wblock this block into file (see attachment):

Hi,

There are multiple ways to achieve that. The only pre requisite would be to have both the "door in fp" drawing and a new one opened.

- Then you could use ADCENTER to visualize the block in your "door in fp" drawing then double click on it to insert in the new drawing.

- You could copy/paste it from your "door in fp" drawing to the new one.

- You could also drag and drop the block from your "door in fp" to a palette. Then click on it from the palette to insert it into the new drawing.

There are more but that's what I have in mind at the moment. All those solutions keep the block dynamic.

I tried that but it lost all but the current visibility state.  Thank you.

As I see in my dwg-file enough visibility states. What wrong with it?

Video of WBLOCK your dynamic block and inserting it in new dwg:

Similar to wblock, you can also open the block in block editor and use the open/save pulldown to select Save As.  Then check the box to save as file.

You were correct.   I don't know if the purge didn't work or what happened but when I tried inserting it again it worked fine.  THANK YOU!

Haven't tested but dragging and dropping from DesignCenter should be an option as well.

I lost a DynBlk once and searched using DesignCenter to find it in a Drawing File from some time back.
