Rotating Text Attribute - Look up scale states - Visibility Colour change - HELP

Hi,

I thought I understood block parameter until I tried making this one.  Apologies if this is in a thread somewhere else,  but I have only managed to find the first part of what I am trying to achieve and its beginning to drive me mad. 😞

So lets break it down...

1. Firstly I have a circle with a text attribute that rotates round the circle - staying legible with a point parameter connected to a rotation parameter.

    This action works nicely

2. Secondly, I have a look up that references a linear parameter with a list of three different sizes with a scale action applied.

This works also on its own, however when I rotate the text in the two smaller sizes of the block,  it doesn't stick to the outer edge of the circle - it wonders off completely.  How do I fix this?

3. Thirdly , the block needs to have several options for different colours.  I created visibility states in the past but not for anything this complex.

Would really appreciate help on this one , this post is my last resort.

Attached a example of block.

Thank you

Dee

hi Ojuris

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!  Your amazing.

You don't know how happy this has made me .

So, if I understand it correctly for the first parts, all I needed to do was add a second scale to the linear parameter , correct?

Thanks

Dee

almoust

  1. remove attribute from first scale
  2. add second scale and add attribute to it
  3. make second scale Independentant with base point in point parameter base point
  4. add in move action second scale
