Redefing Block as Annotative

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a drawing that contains non-annotative blocks that I want to make annotative.  Through block editor, I change the annotative property and then redefine all the blocks.  The blocks seemingly disappear from the drawing, but are still there using the quick select command I can select them.  I then have to add a different annotation scale for the blocks to become visible.

Is this a known bug or I'm I doing something wrong?

It's not a bug.  It is correct behavior.

Depending on how you have your annotative settings annotative objects that do not have the current annotative scale will not be visible.  You can change your settings, though, so that all annotative objects will appear and/or the current annotative scale will be added automatically.

Thanks for the response.  I tried changing the different blocks in another drawing, and it worked as expected.  Although, the drawing has two primary annotation scales, so I had to select the blocks that weren't on the current annotative scale and scale them down to 1.

Thanks
