Property Lookup Table Add Properties button fails

Hi all.  Has anyone encountered this problem? I spend the vast majority of my time developing dynamic blocks in AutoCAD 2011, and have 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 installed on my test laptop, as well as all of those except 2016 on my main development workstation and I have just been shown a problem that I can duplicate on some installations, but not others.

A colleague just brought to my attention that the Add Properties button in the Property Lookup Table dialog box does not work for him. Not only doesn't it work, but it locks up AutoCAD until an escape key is selected (that's the only way to cancel the command  - the close "X" in the upper right won't work, and neither does the Cancel button). I tested on my workstation and I can't duplicate it on 2011, 2013, 2014, or 2015, however on my testing laptop, I can duplicate the problem on 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016 (it only works correctly on the laptop in 2013). I have searched and tried setting BACTIONBARMODE but that didn't help. I couldn't find anything in the AutoCAD documentation to shed any light on this.

I'm referring to this oft used button...Capture.PNG

It is (of course) supposed to launch this dialog box...

Any insight greatly appreciated,

Ron

Nevermind - just figured it out when I tried helping another user with another dialog box!

This is the classic "any dialog box stuck off screen" issue.

Press ALT + SPACEBAR + M (together) and then just press either the right or left arrow key until the lost dialog box scrolls back into your screen area. These can happen from using different monitor setups or projectors. Somehow AutoCAD got stuck with the dialog box off screen.

Additionally, other people have said that CTL + SPACEBAR + Enter also works - same thing - then use right or left arrow key.

Hope this helps a future frustrated user - works on many different dialog boxes.

Thanks Juris - I like that better.

Also, something I neglected to point out - sometimes the dialog box is very slow to come into view, so once you hit an arrow key, it should be attached to your mouse. Just move it left or right to see the dialog box come into your screen.

I bet you have seen that, but I thought I should post it for the benefit of anyone reading the thread in the future.
