Parametric Constraints

Having issues with getting the dashed horizontal and angled lines to resize properly.  I need the angled lines to remain at a 45deg while also being able to allow the horizontal dashed line move in the Y direction and lengthen in the X direction.  All lines must remain connected together.

Post the file.  Draw a couple examples within the file showing how you want it to work.

Can the dimensions be changed using the Parameters Manager? Versus being changed using grips?

They can be changed on the properties palette and the grips can be deleted.  Parameters Manager isn't for on-the-fly editing of parameter values.

Hi,  I am finally getting back around to working on this project.  I have followed your video step-by-step and I am unable to get it to work.  After I complete the steps and go to test my block, whenever I move in the X or Y direction, only the lines that have the linear constraint move.  See the pictures below.Error.PNGError 2.PNG

It's clear in the video that I use a polyline, not individual lines.
