I am learning dynamic block & i have attached here one dynamic block & mentioned in that what kind of action, constraint  i need in that block. please guide me.

When i stretch this block, i want to all holes between first hole and last hole are in equally divide but distance between two holes should be 400 or less than 400.

Please see uploaded cad file for details.

Please help me out from this.

For B type anc C type you first have to decide which dimensions you want to change - the continued dimensions or the baseline dimensions (see pic).

Then you can do it nearly the same way as shown in my video(s) above. Where do you have problems? Show us what you have and what not works as expected.

What you have shown in your attached dwg at the A type I don't understand. Please tell us again where you want the holes be placed.

Sorry, I'm on vacation right now.

Either you wait about two weeks (until I'm back again) or wait until  another user helps.

Don't worry. Now I'm back again and did a closer look at your .ods file.
The formulas in this file only provide a reasonable result if "Dimension" (column C) is greater than or equal to 800. Is this the intention?
I am a little irritated because in your picture in Posting No. 22 all dimensions "Dimension" are smaller than 800.
Do you want the distances between the holes really always be equal to 400, as it is defined in your formula and only the "End Dimension" varies? This is feasible (but also reasonable only, if the "Dimension" is greater than 400), but before I make the effort to make a video I want to be sure to understand what you really want.

In the meantime I built a block "Test-pa" for the C-Type block (see attached _A CARD (1)-pa2a.dwg) in a manner as I understand your intention.

You can change the horizontal dimensions D_hl, D_hm and D_hr (for the left, the middle and the right section) as well as the dimension D_v for the vertical dimension using the properties window or the grips. The distance between the holes is 400. The dimensions D_el, D_em, D_er nd D_ev (for the End Dimensions) are calculated. The smallest allowed value for the End Dimensions can be set with the parameter D_emin. (properties window).

I hope this is close to what you want.

Still one question - see attached dwg.

And an additional question (only for my interesting): Why do you extend the white lines, what is the sense of that?

Hi,

Actually, both the holes are required, cyan colour is rivet holes & magenta colour holes are weep holes.

Rivet holes for all sides and weep for only bottom of panel.

That I understood in the meantime. My question is about the Rivet holes. In your example we can place 6 holes (and the end disctance is 385) or also we can place 7 holes wirth an end distance of 185. In both variants is "150 < end distance < 400" (this is your condition). I'd prefer the last variant - is it allowed?
