Nut side view shape

i want to have it so the radius of the nut in the side view keeps the standard shape when it changes size. In my block you can see what happens when i change the size of the nut, but i want to have it like the example block of Nut M100.

Do i need to give the arcs a radius with scale or stretch the 3 points of the arc(bottom, top and the radius) to the right position?

Arcs are particularly troublesome.  The center point does not count as a vertex and so cannot be stretched at the center.  When you try, the arc is just moved instead. I do not know of a way to use any combination of dynamic parameters/actions to adjust only the radius while keeping the the ends aligned with the same location.  Constraints could probably be made to work in this situation, but I don't want to go through the headache.  Maybe j.palmeL29YX will chime in with a constraints solution.
