Need help with my double door block

I've been trying to make a dynamic block that can:

- stretch the two doors from the mid point so that both doors change size

- stretch the whole block so that both doors stay the same/equal size

- the arch of the doors must be 15 degrees at al times

The block is working correctly from the mid point when stretching but one arch is not staying at 15 degrees when I stretch the whole block..

i used an example of someone but i cant replicate it. (see attachments)

If any one could give me a help with this. I'd very much appreciate it.

Nicky

I'm not sure how to fix it, but I can tell you what your problem is, it's your door1 linear parameter. Since you've chained it to the doorwidth parameter it will stretch the doors even if you want to keep them the size you've already stretched them to.

Why not use that one and add the linework you need from your block and delete the linework you don't need from that block

If you want the whole thing to flip add all the linework and the parameters to the flip action

Instead of using a flip parameter why not use the alignment parameter. See the image below and the attached drawing for a blockCapture.JPG

I want to change the block after it is in position. I dont need it to align.

I will get it to flip some day.

Thanks for the tips.
