multiline Annotative text in Dynamic block

I've seen some other posts with similar problems, but have not been able to track down a solution.  I have many blocks that are set up

to be annotative (meaning the scale according to whatever my annotative scale is set to when I insert them).  The ones I use for section

labels have multiline text in them and are set up as an attribute.  Since installing AutoCAD 2018 they have not been working properly.

Not all the time but a lot of the time when I insert them the multiline text will be super small.  Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Ok, edit to this post.

If I insert this block from my tool palette the attribute definition dialog box opens to fill out the attributes and I have the issue.

If I insert using the insert command and browse for the block the attribute definitions are prompted at the command line and the block behaves as it should.  This makes no sense......

Thoughts?  Ideas?  Anyone????

I have several thoughts about what it could be but just making guesses without seeing the block itself is a waste of time and effort.

I cannot replicate any issue.  Inserting using the insert command works fine.  Inserting from tool palette works the same.  Maybe you could make a screencast to demonstrate the issue?  FWIW, I am using 2017 so the issue might be a bug in 2018.

Agreed, I believe it is a 2018 issue.  I never had a problem until I started using 2018.  I've noticed other anomalies with annotative text in 2018 as well.  Hopefully they fix this in the next release!

You might try going into the block definition that is referenced by the tool palette and add each of the anno scales used to the block definition itself.  Also, right click on the tool and check out the properties to make sure there isn't anything strange going on there.  Looks like a bug, though.

I think so.  Will see if anyone from Autodesk has any feedback......
