Lookup table

Hi everyone
I find strange after all this years AUTODESK still haven't found a solution for filing a lookup table with values copied from EXCEL.

In my particular case I'm building complex dynamic blocks and I'm using lookups to mimic various visibilities.

I have a total of 300 visibility states and as you can imagine this will take a long time to create in the lookup table as it only accepts one row at a time.

Does anyone know an alternative way to create the necessary combinations in EXCEL and then copy them to the lookup table? Lisp for example, other!

Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

If it's just one lookup table, change it to a block properties table. You can paste excel information into those.

Hi hwalker.

Thanks for trying to help. There are several lookups to mimic multiple visibilities. What makes me sad is why AUTODESK, after all these years, didn't think about this problem.

I found a solution but to make it work I had to downgrade AUTOCAD to the 2010 version. At this point I am very disappointed with AUTODESK. I hope that soon they will get a solution.
