Creating a Simple rectangle with rounded edge on 2 ends,  Using Linear Stretch on all 4 sides but I'm finding the grips are not always following the geometry. What am I missing?tank.PNG

The picture certainly demonstrates the problem but does nothing to help the diagnosis of the problem.  Post the block.

Get rid of the constraints.  They aren't necessary and will only cause problems.  Here's how I'd make the block:

What is the reasoning for the Override Distance Multiplier? My Properties doesn't seem to let me put 0.5 or its rounding it to 1.0

If memory serves setting it to 0.5 was a mistake and I set it to 1 later in the screencast.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Horizontal stretch appears to be fine, but when I stretch vertical nothing is staying together.

I made it one shape and used a scale on the vertical and a stretch for the horizontal. Made the middle of the object 0,0 in the block.

My block is the green one in the attached drawing

Follow the steps shown in the screencast (posting #4)  by @Libbya (and try to understand step by step why he what is doing) and you will get the correct result. A big "Thank you" again to @Libbya for this exzellent tutorial.

Libbya, I cant seem to understand what I'm doing wrong. I've followed everything up until the 6min mark and everything is matching perfectly. The testing at 6:30min mark I'm unable to reproduce? Please help! I've finished out the Video as far as able to reproduce the Rotation and changing the "Bactionbarmode" I've attached what I am reproducing and it appears only 1 of the 4 sides that connect to the curve is working properly.

When you add a move or stretch action to a parameter you need to take care to select the correct grip point to be associated with the action.  You can see which grip is associate with an action by selecting the action.  The grip then becomes highlighted.  This video starts with the block you posted and fixes it.
