Linetype scale in dynamic block

Hi,

I am in the process of compiling some dynamic blocks in an effort to increase efficiency and productivity at my office. I have attached a drawing showing a dynamic block which is basically a level notation, with a attribute for text and an option to choose selected scales. The only problem that I have is that the linetype scale for the bottom line (dotted) will remain the same regardless of the scale I choose. Is there a way to have this change accordingly?

Thank you very much,

David

Try making the block Annotative and it will react to various drawing scales on its own without the need for a scale parameter.

Open the block in the block editor. In the properties window, with no objects selected, you should see a line item for the annotative setting. Set it to YES. Before you leave the editor set the linetype scale of the dotted line to 5. (it looked ok in my test when set to 5)  Exit the editor and save. Now select the block and add a selection of scales. You can add the scales from the properties window or in a right click menu when selecting the block.  Now when the drawing scale is changed the block will resize based on that scale. The dotted line will appear the same at each scale.
