Linear Parameter properties

I've been creating numerous dyanmic blocks in AutoCAD Civil3D 2013, but my workstation was recently upgraded to 2014. Previously when I would create a linear paramter for whatever I needed it for, I would have the option in the properties palatte to set the value set option for example.  Unfortunately, now in 2014 I don't have that option in the properties anymore, see attached screenshot.  Would a repair or re-install of Civil3D do the trick?  Thanks.

Make sure PICKFIRST = 1  (Options > Selection > Noun/Verb selection)

Your screen capture looks like it shows a linear constraint, not parameter.

The parameter was created using the the parameter icon in the block editor contextual ribbon, see attached screen shot. The linear constraint is in a different section of the ribbon.

When the parameter is selected and the properties palette opened, the properties in the palette are for the block and not the selected parameter..

Do other objects in the Block Editor show properties when selected?    Were the settings migrated from 2013, or was is a "clean" install.

Depending on how much customization you've done, I'd Reset Settings to Default before repair/reinstall

In looking at your initial jpg, that definitely seems like an odd issue with your workstation.  Whenever I select anything, including parameters, it shows the selection at the top of the properties palette.  Your jpg just shows that selection field blank which NEVER occurs on my workstation.  If I have not selected anything it says 'No Slelection'.  If I have selected more than one type of item it shows 'ALL' and then the number of items in parentheses with the pulldown allowing me to choose which type of item to display.  I have not used 2014 or Civil 3D, but that behavior was consistent with ACA 2015 (what I am currently using) and ACA 2013 (what I used just prior to 2015).
