Linear parameter in a dynamic block

Hello,

I have a dynamic block that used distance multipliers of -0.5 and 0.5. The block works fine however the grip of the parameter is not taking into account the multipliers and get ahead of the "line". They match when the distance entered is 24" for a 48" long strap. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Thank You

Hi, could you explain in a bit more detail what you're trying to accomplish?

@keshishian1

Change your distance multipliers to 1 and -1 respectively or

Extend your distance1 parameter so it is the full length of the line and change the startpoint to the midpoint of the parameter.

Delete the old stretch1 action and create a new one which is linked to the grip on the left hand side of the parameter distance1 (block called test in the attached drawing and is the green one when you open the drawing).

See the attached drawing.
