Issue with Export Attributes

I have over 150 blocks, with attributes.  Each block has a unique name that I assigned.

When I use the Export Attributes command, some of the name's of the blocks are not coming over.  They are replaced with a "*U###" identifier; with the "###" being a unique number for each.  I've verified that there are in-fact unique names for each, and I have purged any unused blocks.

Also, this changes every time I run the run the command.  Sometimes the name comes over, other times it's replaced.

Any thoughts to fix this?

I'm not sure what method you are using for assigning the unique names or exporting the attributes.  I have used Data Extraction in a limited way for that.

This is just a guess, but I believe that every time you perform a dynamic action that creates a unique instance of a block, it will automatically assign the unique name.  I imagine that the ones that have lost your pre-assigned block name were consequently altered dynamically.  I do not know of a way to prevent that from happening.  It should be possible and easy to create an additional invisible attribute that houses the unique name you want to assign and then use that rather than the actual block name.  Just a thought.

@Anonymous,

because it depends what you want to do, so you need to export the data, how are you exporting the data? through data extraction or through "ATTOUT" maybe you can upload your file to verify how the blocks are built.
