I cannot get the field to update. - AutoCAD

I have the attached acceptance/signature block with a visibility state. In the block, I have MText with a field linked to the current sheet title. The link does not update. 

I did a quick search. but i'm pressed for time. 

Any help would be great!

I'm 90% sure it needs to be an attribute  with a field in order to update.

You'd be right. It needs to be an attribute to the block, as the fields will be locked in when the block is inserted.

grrr i was afraid of that.. but makes 100% sense.
