How to stretch my block by typing in one length, while retaining the exact slope of a part of the block.

Hi everyone, I am trying to stretch rectangle A and the line above it, and rectangle B all together under one command. However, Rectangle and line A have a slope of 1:12, and when I go to type in a new overall length, the slope is slightly off. I have sleuthed all the reddits and forums, and I feel like everything I have tried hasn't worked. The closest I've gotten is changing the distance multiplier to 1/cos(1/12) and the angle offset to 355, and while that retained the slope it changed my ability to be able to change the length/stretch of the block by 1. If I need to upload the dwg, I am happy to do so.

@brookedarnell1 You can have multiple stretch actions attached to one parameter. See the attached drawing

Can I ask how you used the construction lines to keep the slope consistent when stretching? I had used two different actions on one parameter, but the slope would never stay 1:12. 

BTW, thank you so much! I have spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure this out.

You needed more decimal places on the angle to see it wasn't 355 degrees. See the image below
