You need to put a couple of linear stretches in your block. Check some of the sites below for tutorials

autocad dynamic block linear stretch - Search (bing.com)

Test if the attached suggestion meets your goal.

If yes, I like to show you how that was done (if you need).

Attached a suggestion (using Parametric Constraints).

The Total Length is visible in the Property Window. If you want to see it in the graphic window, you can add an attribute (I did it for demonstration). To update its value a REGEN is needed.

... and here an other (better) solution:

[EDIT]:

This first video deleted, it was buggy.

[EDIT_end]

or this way

BTW: In the second video I deleted the (IMO unnecessarily) Point and Basepoint Parameters.

To see the Total length in the property window you must have created an attribute as shown in the second (now remaining, the first I deleted) video in post #6. ( think you have placed only a FIELD - its value is not vsible in the prop. window).

In the video you also can see the attibute in the properties window (bottom last line). [I can not check what you did in Test_Rebar2.dwg, because I get an error message while opening the file].

How to delete the point parameter and the basepoint parameter is demonstrated in the video too. (to grab the basepoint parameter I used a window selection).

The insertion point of a block will always be visible if you select  block.

The symbol for the rotation parameter IS a small point, AFAIK you can not change it to a triangle. What you perhaps have seen in the attachment of post #5 is not an rotation parameter, but an Angular Constraint Parameter. Such blocks are "an other world". Are you familiar with "Parametric" (geometrical and dimensional constraints)?

sorry to bother you again.  I am trying to understand but could not get.

1) can you please show the full tutorial, how it is hide the "rotated dimension (dynamic)" and the line for the angular constraint parameter. see the attached image  screen shot.

Even if I would not prefer this way for your current issue, here I show how you can solve the task using parametric constraints.

Before I show you HOW I did the attached (if necessary), check the block if it meets your goal (I'm not sure if I understand you right).

Of course you need always a REGEN to update the Attributes values (because they refer to FIELDs)

And I have no idea what you mean with "4) ...grip to stretch inside". Can you describe more detailed please?

Attached an attempt without constraints. Check its functionality.

(to fullfill the point 4 pick one of the new grips, move the cursor to the opposite grip and type the wished value (70, 60, 50 or what you want)

And please have a look at the attached image.

(BTW: It would be nice to know all requirements from the beginning )

As described above:

To hover the cursor on the opposite grip is only necessary if the block is placed not horizontally. If it is placed in  horizontal position you only need to activate the Ortho mode and before you type the value place the cursor anywhere in the needed direction (direct distance input).

If you always have the same value on the left side as on the right side (I don't know) you don't need the left grip, because the right grip can stretch also the left side (Stretch4 action must get an Angle offset 180 or a Distance multiplier -1).

Did you test the block "V" which is attached to post #16 ?

Here again how I understand your request:

Or perhaps I misunderstand something (?)
