How to remove an individual item from a dynamic block action

Specifically a stretch command.  I can modify and add.  I can select new and redo them.  I can delete the object and replace with something new. But if I just want to remove one item from the action, how do I do this?

This becomes a major pain when you inadvertently select an object that shouldn't be there but it is an object that is used in many other dynamic actions and there are multiple visibility states.

Double click on your stretch action, when it asks for a window just press enter. Now right click and choose REMOVE. See the image below

Nothing happens when I double click on the action.  I have ACAD mouse/keyboard setup old school, as I'm into efficiency over UI.  So I'm not sure if that is the case.  If so, do you know what setting I need to change in order to get double clicking to give me options?

Also, I'm not trying to remove the action.  I'm trying to remove an item from the action, like a line.  So if I have 30 objects that are being stretched, I want to remove one of those objects.

@joe.augusten just choose Modify Selection Set and then follow my previous post, from "when it asks for a window..."

I don't have those options with double clicking/right clicking.  Most likely due to my acad settings.  I did turn on my command line during this to see that you can select remove once you do modify selection set.  It's defaulted to add.  So that does the trick!  Just need to hit R after selecting modify.  Thanks!

To answer your question about not seeing those options, it may be because bactionbarmode is set to 1. You would need it to be set to 0.
