How to get Stretch Action to work both sides

Hi all

I have not done much work with dynamic blocks, so am going through some tutorials I have found.

https://www.cad-notes.com/dynamic-block-tutorial-2-creating-column/

https://www.cad-notes.com/dynamic-block-tutorial-1-creating-wall/

I can't figure out how to get the stretch action on the column to work on both sides, as shown in the tutorial.

See attached dwg file.

Can anyone show me how?

I'm not sure exactly what you want and I'm not willing to read through two beginner tutorials to find out.  Is this what you want?

Thanks

Exactly what I want!

All I had to do was repeat the stretch action on the other side.

So simple when you know how!

I will post more specific details in future of my problems

I am studying dynamic blocks in detail now , with the specific purpose

of using them at work. We have some old dynamic blocks,

and some new ones, done by various people, but not saved in any one

central place.

Unfortunately we don't have any policies set in place

by our Drawing Office manager, so everybody does their own blocks

and saves them in their own directory, without sharing them.

Is there any way of saving a screencast to one's hard drive?

I have found a roundabout way of saving screencasts to my harddrive.

I use a video recording software I purchased a few years ago called snagit

Not the ideal way, but will do, if I use zoom factor on Windows Explorer to zoom

in to screencast. It would be better if I could download screencast directly.
