I am not sure if this is possible with AutoCad, but i am creating an order form using AutoCad and for some of the form feilds i need to have a couple options for customers to choose from - can anyone help me with how to create a dropdown list so that they can choose the option they want?

Please provide detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

Thanks!

drop down list for what exactly?
To do what?
Where do you think you want this list to be?
How will a customer know where to click?

drop down list for what exactly? Nothing - the dropdown will not need to do anything other than just show the option that they choose. I know adobe acrobat would be a better option for this but my customers have requested CAD order forms.
To do what? So one drop down, for example, would allow the customer to choose the amount of parts that they need - so they would choose either 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 and the option they choose should be shown in the field.
Where do you think you want this list to be? I have created a title block and i want this list to be inside of the title block page.

How will a customer know where to click? Sorry, what do you mean by this? I was hoping that they could either click on a down arrow or click on the field and have a list of options drop down - is this possible?

Thanks!

A block properties table or lookup will create a drop down list in order to select options within a dynamic block.  That said, AutoCAD is not an application that I would have 'customers' using.

That's a shopping list from the sounds of it: is that a fair assessment? AutoCAD is the wrong program for parts ordering if that is what you customers to do.

Or are you wanting this to be tied to a Database that you also install at customer sites on their servers, and that database sends your company an order?

You should watch a tutorial on dynamic blocks basics.  There are some free ones on YouTube.  Once you are over that hump, if you have questions that are above that level report back.  FWIW, the other users on this site do not get paid to assist you and your time is not worth more than mine.

That's not an image of AutoCAD.  That is an image from Windows.

I believe a block properties table would be as close as you will get in AutoCAD.

He explains it quite nicely for you...you will be programming in c#/.net.
There are a lot of developers out there that would perform this task...just gotta ask.
