Hiding Actions in Layers

Hi everyone! I'm trying to place actions in a Dynamic block on layers to make the (large) number of actions manageable. I seem to be able to place the actions on layers and hide the layers, but this assignment seems to be lost when I save/ re-enter the block. I.e. All the actions I'd previousy moved to hidden layers are now back on layer 0. Any advice how to make the assignments stick? Autocad 2010, Windows. cheers!

Seems to be a default for Actions and Parameters.

Can't find a Variable or anything in Help that would indiciate this is so but the same thing happens here.

Interesting that BACTIONCOLOR Variable will allow the Action and Parameter to be set to BYLAYER but then not allow a Layer to be selected and then kept.

Thanks for the reply. Indeed, the layer property can hide the actions, but only during the current bedit session. 😞
