HELP! CISC HSS dynamic block

Hello,

I have attached a dynamic block created in AutoCAD 2012 (it's what we are still using here). I have created this dynamic HSS block and I am having some issues with it.

It only seems to work if the "t" (thickness) variable is set first. If any other variable is set first, the constraints fail to resolve and the whole block just locks up. The "b" (width) & "d" (depth) dimensions are not related to "t" (nor should they be) from what I can tell. So, the requirement to set "t" first is both annoying and baffling.

This requirement to set "t" first has a knock on negative effect... The Block Table does not work. 😞

Please take a look and help if you can.

Thanks!

hi!

  1. I think in table You have uncorrect values - I mean d must be t, b must be d, t must be b
  2. I delete aligned constraints d1, d3, d4
  3. I add some tangent constraints

try this, is it OK?

Do you have the CISC dynamic blocks for all shapes. That is W, C, L. T etc.
