Have object appear when stretch implemented?

Is it possible to have a new object appear if a stretch is implemented?  I have a wall with the option to bump out 4-ft but when done, it needs an additional row of concrete footing piers and columns.  It would be great if this feature exists to add objects with a stretch.  I'm already using visibility for various layouts.

It sounds like maybe that should be possible.
Since your goal is (for me) not quite understandable
- post your block
- show an example what you expect

An array perhaps?

Thanks.  Here is the block.  Between BASE FNDN and FULL EXT, if I decided to make the BASE alone with a stretch parameter, could there be a feature of the dynamic block for the extra row of footing piers appear when stretched out 4-ft?

Thanks.  I'm not familiar with Array in dynamic blocks but only in drafting multiple objects - I'll look into it.

I don't yet understand what you want to do. What (which part of the geometry) do you want to stretch? Where do you want to appear what (which new geometry)?

Perhaps you're looking for something like shown in >>this<< small example? You can change the width of the rectangle. If the width of the rectangle reaches a decided value (here 60) a new geometry (line with circles) appears.

If this is what you expect I like to explain how to get such functionality. Otherwise I (we?) need more input what you want to achieve.

Hi... Definitely.   That's exactly it.  Just where you have your circle examples is where my extra row of footing piers go when the backwall is extended 4-ft.  How is this done - what is the parameter called?

How is this done?

First you need a Double Lookup. If you don't have it - at the beginning of the video I show how you can create such a parameter.
Furthermore you should set BACTIONBARMODE to 0 to see the both LookUp Tables of the DoubleLookup parameter.

Now - after you have drawn both rows of piers - follow the steps demonstrated in the video.
>>Here<< I show a possibility if you have only 2 values for the width (e.g. 60 for one row and 90 for two rows). If you want to change the width dynamically to any value have a look at the tables in my first example above.

Thank you very much!  I will study and learn this next level of dynamism!   🙂
