I have been creating dynamic blocks for a number of months now.
The learning curve is steep, but there are a few problems I could not find a solution to anywhere.
I have several dynamic blocks that use Constrain Proportions and a Block Properties Table for items such has HSS, C-Channels, Steel Angles, etc.
Each block is hatched with a steel hatch I created.
When I place blocks the hatch has no problem, however, whenever I copy and paste these blocks, if I have selected any parameters other than the base parameter, I lose the hatch and it reverts back to the original state in the block definition while the other properties remain altered.
I have attached an image of the phenomenon which, as far as I understand it, is an unresolved issue in AutoCAD.
I have had a lot of other issues with the stability of Constrained Dynamic Blocks and Block Properties Tables breaking apart after so many block properties changes and so forth, but I'll leave that to another forum.
