Hello fellow CAD users,
I am currently working on Drilling project that involves the creation of dynamic blocks with trajectories, and I am encountering some difficulties. Specifically, I am having trouble finding a way to generate trajectories, and I would like to have data in a table generated and updating when I change points on a trajectory.
I have tried a few different methods, but I am a beginner in using motion constraints and dynamic parameters, so I am still not getting the results I need. Additionally, I have been unable to find a way to generate and update table data automatically as I change the points on the trajectory.
Can anyone provide some guidance on the best way to generate trajectories line in dynamic blocks and update data in a table accordingly? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. The trajectory I am speaking about is a combination of straight lines and arcs constraint by their radii's. All in 2D.
To provide some more context, I am using AutoCAD Map 3D 2024 and I am relatively experienced with the software, but I am by no means an expert. I am hoping to hear from other professionals or advanced users who have experience working with dynamic blocks and generating lines with constraints, as well as generating and updating table data.
